If you have the burning desire to send something us something, our address is:
Ian & Anne May, PO Box 1625, Thika 01000, Kenya
It has been taking about 2 weeks (at the shortest) for us to receive things sent through the US Postal service. We usually have to pay a customs tax, so try to estimate as low as possible on the “value” of the goods you are sending.
Things we always would love receiving:
Paperback books for kids/adults (send beat up ones so no one will want to take them. Garage sale type or Goodwill are good, or ones you are done with. Anne loves historical fictions etc, Ian random stuff), candy (gum and seriously ANYTHING, especially gummy), matchbox cars (expensive here and we would probably give them to kids on their birthdays etc), candles, small kids toys, gift bags that need reusing, granola bars, MAGIC ERASERS, Cincinnati chili packets,Costco package of regular Kool Aid, music you have burned onto a CD, your favorite Bible verses, little girl hair pretties, bottled smells of McDonald’s happy meals, postcards from the US so people can see how much different parts vary….
That’’s a pretty good list to get you all started!
Let’s see…as of October, we might like: still CANDY of all types, coloring books, fruit snacks, goldfish crackers, marinade seasoning packets, batteries (AA and AAA), fun stuff from the Target dollar bin.

Hi Anne, I have a little package Im sending you. I have been reading your blog and I love it. I also love historical fiction and I have tons of books. Have you read Molokai by Alan Brennert, or The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory? If not I’ll include one of those, they are my recent favorites.
