Our new town & home

I’m having a little bit of trouble with the internet connection this evening, but will hopefully get a few pictures on here of our new town and home in Thika, Kenya.

We traveled from Nairobi yesterday up the Nairobi-Thika Highway a bit over an hour (severe traffic because of any accident) to arrive in our new home town.  Thika is much more rural than Nairobi, and our place is a bit past town.  Our road is right at a police check station (metal barbed strips across the road), so it’s an easy place  to find!

So glad you had safe travels and that you are finally at your “new” home. We all miss you here but everything is good. I loved reading about your journey as you made your way to Kenya. Stay safe!
